Rachael Wilson is a Chartered Architect experienced in both energy consultancy and low-carbon design.
She first trained as an architectural technologist with Buckinghamshire County Councils' Energy Efficiency Department, then went on to study architecture at Canterbury College of Art and Design, pursuing her interest in ‘green' design.
After completing her degree she lived and worked in Zimbabwe for three years before obtaining a Joint Diploma in Architecture and Energy Efficient Design from Oxford Brookes University . Before joining Rickaby Thompson Associates she worked with Thames Valley Energy, promoting the use of renewable energy in a variety of commercial and residential developments.
She is an Authorised SAP energy rating Assessor through the National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme, an accredited SBEM Assessor and an EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor.
