Catherine Arotsky is a Chartered Engineer through the Energy Institute.
She has over seven years experience in energy and environmental consultancy in relation to buildings, working at FaberMaunsell Ltd (previously ECD Energy and Environment) and National Energy Services before joining Rickaby Thompson Associates.
She has worked extensively with housing associations and local authorities, undertaking specification reviews, energy efficiency and sustainability advice and monitoring of innovative technologies. Catherine is an Authorised SAP energy rating Assessor through the National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme, a Competent Person for carbon dioxide emissions calculations under the Building Regulations, via the Faero Competent Persons scheme, an EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor, a BREEAM Assessor and a CEEQUAL Verifier.
She also has experience in evaluating new and renewable energy technologies such as CHP, wind-power, solar water heating and fuel cells.
